Treatment approaches

Although I draw on a range of different approaches, I predominately utilise the below treatment approaches:
Eating disorder specific -
·       Cognitive behaviour therapy – enhanced (CBT-E)
·       Cognitive behaviour therapy for avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (CBT-AR)
·       Dialectical behaviour therapy for eating disorders (DBT-E)
·       Specialist clinical supportive management (SSCM)

Non-eating disorder specific treatments -
·       Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT)
·       Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
·       Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

I also enjoy integrating elements of mindfulness-based and compassion-focused approaches e.g. Mindful self-compassion and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), including CFT for eating disorders (CFT-E) into treatment.

I am an Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED) credentialed clinician.
